Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is under scrutiny for declining to respond to a CNN inquiry regarding the timing of his awareness of President Joe Biden’s noticeable cognitive decline.
In a discussion with CNN’s Kasie Hunt, Schumer evaded the inquiry, stating that Democrats are ‘looking ahead’ and concentrating on opposing Donald Trump.
Hunt cited the book Original Sin, which claims that Biden’s deterioration was hidden. Schumer once again diverted attention, leading to increased examination.
Subsequently, Abby Phillips of CNN addressed a purported statement from Schumer indicating that he and senior Democrats had a contingency plan in the event of Biden’s subpar performance.
