Records indicate that Graham Farra, the co-founder and president of Glass House Farms, a location where migrant children as young as 14 were discovered working, has donated thousands of dollars to Governor Gavin Newsom and other Democratic officials in the state.
Glass House Farms, located in Ventura County, holds the title of California’s largest cannabis cultivator and was previously recognized as a pioneer in environmentally sustainable cannabis practices.
Last Thursday, ICE agents apprehended 361 undocumented workers, including 14 minors—eight of whom were unaccompanied—during a raid that escalated into violence as protesters confronted law enforcement. One worker tragically lost their life after falling from a greenhouse during the operation.
Farra has made significant contributions to various Democratic candidates and initiatives in California, including a donation of $10,000 to Gavin Newsom’s campaign in 2018.
