Jeanine Pirro, the U.S. Attorney for Washington, D.C., exited a meeting with President Donald Trump at the White House carrying a clear message.
She stated that she had just met with the president to address “crime in the nation’s capital.”
“Our responsibility is to remove firearms from the streets, eliminate drugs from the streets, assist those individuals who pose a threat, carjack others, and restore safety and cleanliness to this city. That is precisely what we intend to accomplish. If you do not support this initiative, you will have to contend with us,” she remarked in a video shared on X.
The Capitol has become a focal point of discussion, as the city has been plagued by crime for decades under the leadership of a succession of Democratic mayors.
