Justice Dept. Announces More Arrests for Assaults On ICE Agents

The Department of Justice has conducted numerous arrests in recent weeks due to a rise in assaults on U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and other federal agents, which have reached unprecedented levels.

On Friday, Gregory K. Bovino, Commander of Operation At Large California and Chief of the El Centro Border Patrol Sector, revealed that agents had carried out an arrest warrant for a suspect charged with assaulting federal officers during immigration enforcement activities in Los Angeles.

In a video shared on X, members of the Border Patrol’s elite BORTAC special operations unit are shown detaining a suspect accused of spitting on agents during an immigration enforcement operation. At the moment of his arrest, the individual was wearing a t-shirt opposing ICE.
